James Parke

James R. Parke was born in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from California State University at Fullerton (B.A., 1975) and Pepperdine University (J.D., 1978). He was admitted to the California Bar in 1978. He has been named a Certified Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.Mr. Parke has been listed as a Super Lawyer since 2004. Mr. Parke is a member of the State Bar of California and the Orange County Bar Association (Member, Family Law Section). He is a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and was Co-Dean of the 2013 Annual Institute of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Parke’s article “Drafting Proper Declarations” appeared in the Orange County Lawyer in 1993. Mr. Parke was an Adjunct Instructor (Family Law) at Trinity Law School (1995); Seminar Panelist “Presentation of Evidence” OCBA Family Law Section (2001); Seminar Panelist “Hearsay Exceptions” OCBA Family Law Section (2011); Panelist: Divorce Recovery at Yorba Linda Friends Church, Yorba Linda; Lecturer Remarriage Workshop (Legal Consequences of Remarriage) First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton. Mr. Parke is also a Founding Fellow of the Society of Fellows of the Orange County Bar Foundation, a member of the World Affairs Council, a member of the Celtic Bar Association, and a member of the Orange County Jewish Bar Association.
