James McClintick

A thoughtful and seasoned attorney, consultant, and writer, I assist non-citizens with all aspects of immigration matters. I also have broad experience defending local and international corporations against government enforcement actions, toxic exposure suits, construction defect claims, and breach of contract suits. On the plaintiff side, I have prosecuted cases on behalf of consumers injured by various forms of corporate malfeasance, including deceptive advertising, privacy breach, and fraudulent lending practices. My law practice currently focuses on immigration matters. A significant portion of my work involves assisting foreign investors with EB-5 immigrant visa petitions. In addition to my legal and consulting work, I am a lecturer and published author, having spoken and/or written articles on such topics as academic freedom under the First Amendment, state-level legislative developments affecting civil litigation, and the connection between federal funding for infrastructure and economic growth. My views on public policy, government spending, and China's economic growth have been quoted in the Global Times, Asia-Pacific Daily, and Xinhua News, among other publications.
