About James Kilkowski
Mr. Kilkowski was admitted to the California Bar in 1982. He litigates business matters in state and federal courts, and in arbitral forums. His areas of practice include intellectual property matters (including trade secret and unfair competition cases), entertainment disputes, real estate disputes, partnership disputes, the defense of lender liability claims, the representation of creditors in bankruptcy proceedings (including lien priorities, preference and fraudulent transfers), and appellate practice including writ applications and full appeals. Mr. Kilkowski's pre-trial experience includes provisional remedies such as attachments and preliminary injunctions, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation of document-intensive cases. His post-trial experience includes the preparation of and objections to statements of decision, motions for new trial, motions to vacate judgment, the enforcement of judgments, and appeals.
