Jacqueline is a Partner in our Litigation Group and is Chair of Lacy Katzen's Litigation Department. She has been a trial attorney for over 30 years. Her practice is focused upon civil litigation including personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, products liability and medical device litigation. Ms. Thomas also represents insurance policy holders in coverage dispute litigation against their insurance companies. Acting as “excess counsel”, she has represented policy holders in cases where clients do not have adequate insurance coverage. She is the Chair of Lacy Katzen's Risk Management Committee and has an understanding of contingency planning issues. Honors: Jacqueline was recently recognized by Best Lawyers® as the 2022 "Lawyer of the Year" for Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice Law. In addition to the "Lawyer of the Year" award, she has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2018 for both Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice Law and Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Litigation.
