Helen Fabian

Helen Fabian is an employment attorney, workplace investigator, and human resource best practices trainer with over twenty years of experience in helping companies avoid lawsuits and resolve employment issues in creative, cost-efficient ways. She also conducts employment mediations and serves as an expert witness in state and federal court. Ms. Fabian has served as both in-house and outside counsel for major companies in a variety of industries, as well as establishing her own employment law and human resource consulting firm. Ms. Fabian is a writer, frequent speaker, and has trained thousands of human resource professionals, managers, and executives nationwide on harassment prevention, the essentials of human resource management, disability discrimination and the interactive process, workplace violence, and conducting effective investigations. She has served as SVP, Human Resources and General Counsel for MemorialCare Health System, in-house counsel at Beckman Coulter, and as an employment litigation attorney at Littler Mendelson. Additionally, she has served as Board Member of the Orange County Bar Association, and the Chair of the Labor & Employment Section. She was a columnist for the State Bar Employment Law Quarterly, and Editor for Entrepreneur Media’s Legal Book Series. She graduated from Loyola Law School and USC with a B.A. in Journalism and Communications.
