About Heather Irwin
I am a partner in the Labor & Employment Group at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP. I represent employers in court and before administrative agencies, such as the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the California Labor Commissioner’s Office, the Department of Labor, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I regularly provide strategic advice and counseling to employers on a wide variety of employment issues, including disability accommodation, wage and hour claims, Family Medical Leave Act/California Family Rights Act compliance, sexual harassment, and discrimination claims. I also conduct neutral investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other misconduct. Before coming to Gordon & Rees, I worked as an in-house attorney in the State Bar of California’s Office of General Counsel. As in-house counsel for the State Bar, I advised management and the Board of Governors of the State Bar of California on a variety of matters, including labor and employment issues.
