About Gregory Bell

My career has been focused real estate and entertainment. I am a Property Manager, Asset Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and General Counsel for Apex Realty, Inc. I also hold a title of Executive Vice President of Conga Room Live, LLC, owner of the World Famous Conga Room at LA LIVE. I oversee all aspects of the day to day activities for both companies, directly managing and supervising nearly 100 people, on separate budgets. I have direct hands on legal and practical experience in dealing with all sorts of issues and problems, and creating solutions for owners, investors, managers, and operators of real estate assets. During my career I have participated in excess of 100 real estate transactions (I have been a California licensed Broker since 1998); have managed or developed property across all major sectors (commercial, retail, residential and residential income); overseen $500,000,000 or more in financing and re-financing events, and participated in many legal disputes and resolution, both prosecuting and defending. I have been licensed to practice law since 1995. Through the year, given the various roles i have served in, I have increased my legal role beyond real estate to include employment, personal injury (primarily defense), and non profit oversight. I built and managed relationships with lenders, investors, partners, landlords, tenants, vendors and managers through good and bad market, and spirited and turbulent economic and financial times, including successfully navigating the great recession, and using those skills learned and applying them to the current pandemic. Separately I was a principal operating partner for The Conga Room located at LA LIVE, the pre-eminent Latin Night Club and Live Music Venue in the California and known throughout the United States. I was instrumental in the grand opening, participated and oversaw the initial $5,000,000 construction buildout, raised significant funds for the initial capitalization, and have been involved in the day to day affairs of the company since inception, including active involvement in all major decisions. In 2018, I was instrumental in founding and organizing (and proudly serve as a Board Member) of Conga Kids, Inc, a 501 c3 corporation. Conga Kids mission is to provide social-emotional dance thru social dance and currently serves 10,000 student throughout the greater Los Angeles County.
