Grace Zimmerman

Grace Zimmerman is recognized as a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Her practice consists of a full range of matters concerning employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions with an additional emphasis on EB-5 and E visas. She advises clients on business immigration issues including I-9 compliance, immigration consequences of corporate restructuring and the development of internal immigration policies. In addition, she handles labor certifications, consular processing, adjustment of status, family immigration, naturalization and citizenship matters. Grace earned a Juris Doctor from the Santa Clara University School of Law and graduated from the University of California at Davis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. From 2006 to 2010, Grace served as Chair, Vice Chair and Member of the Immigration and Nationality Law Advisory Commission of the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA.) She has also served on the following AILA committees; Business Immigration Committee; California Service Center Liaison Committee (two terms as Chair, one term as Member); San Diego AILA Chapter (Chair); PERM Implementation Group; and U.S. Department of Labor Liaison Committee. Ms. Zimmerman has been a speaker at numerous regional and national immigration conferences on employment-based immigration topics.
