Gary Caris’ practice focuses on bankruptcy, receivership and creditors’ rights litigation. He is experienced in representing financial institutions and other creditors in complex bankruptcy litigation and Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings. Mr. Caris has represented federal equity receivers throughout the United States who have been appointed in enforcement actions brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Trade Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and other federal agencies, as well as representing equity, real property and business receivers in California State Court.
