Gabriel Jimenez

Gabe has over 25 years of experience litigating & now mediating civil cases. His concentration has been workers' compensation, negligence & construction cases. He began his career representing insurance companies and self-insured businesses & later opened his own law office representing injured parties. Jimenez is a certified Superior Court mediator & has found that speaking in Spanish had been helpful to establish a rapport with native speakers. This tends to increase everyone’s comfort level with the legal process. Gabe has spent time working together with a diverse group of attorneys across our State, including a 3-year term on the Board of Governors of the N.C. Bar Association; Member of the N.C. Equal Access to Justice Commission (2017-22); served on various committees of the Wake County Bar & teaching at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Law as an Adjunct Professor. Outside of the office, Jiménez has always enjoyed participating in community service projects and volunteer organizations. He served a 3 year term on the Board for the North Carolina Bar Association. He also sits on the Hispanic Lawyers Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Hispanic/Latino Legal Issues Division of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, committees which he has Chaired in the past. Jiménez has also served as an adjunct professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel HiLL School of Law.
