I am a Board Certified Civil Trial attorney (formerly, from 1993 through 2003 Board Certified in Criminal Trial practice as well), having tried well over 100 cases (combined civil and criminal) to juries over 35 plus years of trial practice. I am also a member of American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) which places a high premium and focus on professionalism both inside and outside the courtroom. My focus is on preparation in presenting a case, and try, as much as possible to understand and address the concerns and interests of my clients, as well as the fact finders (whether it be a jury or a judge) who may pass judgment on the position of my clients. I also place a premium on fairness and frankness to opposing counsel, and any other members or associates in the profession. I also attempt to translate those concerns to my personal life in dealing with others on an every-day basis. To me, relationships are the most important part of my interaction with others, and I strongly believe that attitude is everything.
