Dedicated to resolution of disputes and many cases can be resolved by actively working toward resolution by negotiating in good faith. Litigation should be used after reasonable efforts have been made to resolve cases. Most cases can be resolved if both the parties and the lawyers strive to resolve issues fairly and reasonably. Prior to becoming an attorney I worked in the Rehabilitation Field in a variety of roles and provided me with positive experiences in becoming resourceful and creative in resolving conflicts. Working with individuals as a counselor I learned that they are part of either a family or network of people who impact the success of their goals and objectives. This knowledge was transferable to my becoming a lawyer and helping clients resolve issues. Communication is at times a barrier to achieving success in conflict resolution.
