About Frank Chernak
I chair the Labor and Employment practice group of Montgomery McCracken. I have tried several employment and civil rights cases to defense verdicts. My practice focuses on defending entities, employers, and municipalities in constitutional, employment, personal injury, contract, and tort cases. In December 2024, I tried a traumatic brain injury case to verdict in federal court in Philadelphia. In October and November 2023, I tried a traumatic brain injury case to verdict in Boston Massachusetts. I also counsel clients on defending claims and trial strategy. In October 2019, The Philadelphia Business Journal selected me to its Best of the Bar: Philadelphia’s Top Lawyers list for Employment Litigation. In 2019, I tried cases to verdict in federal courts in Baltimore, Md. (a “Me Too” sexual harassment case), Philadelphia, Pa. (a criminal records class action trial), and Chicago, Ill. (a race, age, disability discrimination and retaliation case). In March 2020, I was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers. Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only and only after careful investigation to those experienced trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds, who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality. Membership in the College cannot exceed one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province. I am admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.
