About Erin Jewell
Since 2005, I have focused my practice on representing asbestos victims and their families, as well as others injured or suffering from latent diseases caused by defective drugs, toxic substances, and medical devices, including talc, herbicides such as Roundup and Paraquat, Zantac, hernia mesh products and Allergan breast implants. I have prepared and tried cases to verdict for mesothelioma victims, and continue to represent mesothelioma victims. In addition, I have recovered workers’ compensation benefits for asbestos victims and other injured workers before the Department of Labor and the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission, under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Act. I am also accredited with the Veteran's Administration and have obtained veteran's benefits for veterans with asbestos-related diseases. I am a member of the American Association of Justice and serve on the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice. I am a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyer's Association ("VTLA"), serve as its Treasurer, and also serve on VTLA's Executive Council, Board of Governors, Women's Caucus Leadership Committee, Education Committee and Fundraising Committee.
