About Erin Haug
My ability to learn new areas of the law on the fly and juggle multiple projects under pressure while still delivering outstanding results is my hallmark. In my 17-year legal career I have successfully resolved a multitude of legal issues for a variety of individual, business and municipal clients. Areas of practice include: Family Law Estate Planning Probate Contracts Criminal Law Civil Litigation Personal Injury Client satisfaction and providing top notch legal services is my #1 priority. Commended for my work-ethic and ability to work independently, I consistently step up to the plate for my clients, seeing a matter to successful resolution (including trial and appeal if necessary). Equally important is my relationship with my firm and colleagues. Maintaining a sense of collegiality in the office, even under the most pressured of circumstances, is important to me. I have also served on firm committees that oversee marketing and other office management issues. A natural client developer, I routinely attend networking and marketing events and find creative ways to connect with new clients. Highlights of my career include: Served as lead attorney in 6 trials and 70+ contested motions and hearings – took 2 cases through appeals to state supreme court. Created and grew a solo law practice from scratch – performed all of my own office management, billing, networking marketing, and advertising. Markedly grew business for 3 different law firms – retained largest 2 clients for one firm; increased gross receipts every year for 6 years for another firm. As a law clerk while still in law school, assisted the City Attorney in a $400M+, 8-mile long flood levee project that was the largest displacement of people before Hurricane Katrina. Even during the busiest times of my practice I find time to perform pro bono work for the community. I feel an obligation to contribute my talents to worthy causes and those who are less fortunate.
