Eric Sigda

Eric Sigda is a labor and employment attorney who represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship. Eric counsels employers on a wide array of employment matters and works with management to develop effective solutions to workplace issues. Eric practices in the following areas: ► Litigates employment matters including claims involving allegations of breach of contract, discrimination and harassment, whistle blowing, retaliation, wage and hour class actions (such as employee misclassification and overtime), misappropriation of trade secrets and violations of restrictive covenants. ► Counsels employers of all sizes on labor and employment matters including social media, family and medical leave, disability questions, employee handbooks, employee discharge and discipline, diversity and harassment training and contingent workforce issues. ► Negotiates and prepares executive employment agreements. ► Represents clients before various agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the United States Department of Labor, the New York State Division of Human Rights and the National Labor Relations Board. ► Represents management in disputes with labor unions.
