Eric Bielitz

I am an attorney in solo practice in Baltimore, Maryland, and I have a Master's Degree in Taxation. My practice's primary focus is on tax controversy and planning. My secondary and tertiary focus is on Employment law (advising and representing employers) and Business law (representing and advising businesses and their leadership). As a tax controversy lawyer, I represent my clients who have many different kinds of tax trouble. I represent my clients during the audit process, and in tax court litigation, if needs be. For my clients who owe back taxes, but cannot pay, I work to find solutions for them to meet their tax obligations with the least amount of pain as possible. I also offer tax planning services to my clients, to minimize their tax exposure in upcoming events. Most recently I advised a client on how to limit the taxes on retirement accounts he inherited. I am of counsel to Foley & Foley, a boutique Employment law firm based in Massachusetts. We at Foley & Foley advise, advocate, and counsel hundreds of businesses of all sizes in employment law matters. As a business attorney, I advise and guide my clients in establishing their businesses, and giving advice and counsel on the legal dimensions of their business. Besides tax and employment law considerations, I can advise on corporate governance, review contracts and deals before my client commits to them, and perform compliance checks, to name a few.
