Emily Tulloch

My legal practice includes advising and representing K-12, community college, and higher education clients on a wide range of education, labor, and employment law matters, including special education, FOIA/OMA, Title IX, student discipline, employee misconduct, teacher dismissals, and discrimination claims. I represent clients in state and federal court and in administrative proceedings, including tenured teacher discipline proceedings and student discipline hearings. I assist with a variety of board governance and business matters including policy and Freedom of Information Act and Open Meetings Act concerns. I am experienced in student matters including student discipline, student expulsion hearings, Title IX, and special education/disability matters. I also advise clients facing complaints or administrative charges relating to harassment and discrimination, including those involving sexual harassment and violence.
