About Eliot Grossman

Eliot Lee Grossman is an experienced litigator, trial and appellate attorney who divides his time between practicing law in Los Angeles and teaching martial arts in Mexico City where he is also engaged in social science research as an Academic Member of the Permanent Seminar for Chicano and Border Studies, Department of Ethnology and Social Anthropology, National Institute of Anthropology and History. Mr. Grossman has a B.A., Phil. (Swarthmore College), B.S., Gen. Studies (Portland State U.), M.S., Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine (Alhambra Medical U.), J.D. (Hastings College of the Law), and is a M.A. Candidate in Social Anthropology (National School of Anthropology and History, Mexico City). Mr. Grossman is a Certified Practitioner of Classical 5-Element Acupuncture. He has taught at UC Irvine, Peoples College of Law in Los Angeles, and the University of the Americas and US International University in Mexico City. He holds black belts in Aikido and Balika Jujitsu, a brown belt in Modern Arnis, and has studied Wu Ying Mun Karate, Hung-Gar Gong Fu, Goju-Ryu Karate, Kajukenbo Karate, Northern Shaolin Gong Fu, Tai Qi Chuan, Taekwando, Iaido, Kenpo Karate, Hakko-Ryu Jujutsu, and Pentjak Silat.
