Elena Greenberg

In my 37 years of practicing law, I have concentrated my practice almost exclusively on all aspects of matrimonial and family law, because it affords me the best opportunity to help people on a personal level. Although our firm focuses primarily on litigation, both of us are a certified mediators and advocates and participants in the collaborative law process. I have lectured before the Nassau and Suffolk County Supreme Court and Family Court judges, the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations, on such topics as enhanced earning capacity, legal ethics, and fee dispute resolution. I have also lectured before the New York State Society of CPAs and for other financial professionals. I served as a columnist in the area of matrimonial law for the New York Law Journal, and also write for the Nassau County Bar Association journal. I recently completed service on the New York State Grievance Committee for the Tenth Judicial District. I am Past President of the the New York Family Law of the American Inns of Court, and past Chair of the Technology and Practice Management Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, which committee serves to explore the the role of modern technology in making our practice more efficient. I was admitted to practice law in New York in 1983.
