Elaine Nicholson

Elaine has extensive experience in the non-profit sector. For several years, she served as an administrator with one of the nation’s largest community development corporations, where she worked with programs that served individuals in low-income communities in and around Newark, NJ. In fact, she worked full-time during all four years of law school. Her work experience includes: grant-writing and management, program administration, staff development, At Johnson & Nicholson, Elaine focuses on immigration and domestic matters. She has also represented parents in abuse and neglect cases and juveniles who were charged with crimes. Aside from being a member of the NC and NJ bars, Elaine is also a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
