Edward Rebenack

I’m a personal injury lawyer representing those injured in truck crashes. Over the last 29 years of practice, I’ve witnessed the devastating aftermath of these accidents. I welcome the challenge of litigating against the trucking companies and their insurance carriers when they attempt to avoid responsibility. I defended the insurance industry against injury claims for the first 10 years of my legal career. Time and again, I saw the insurance companies take advantage of less knowledgeable, ill-prepared, and under-capitalized lawyers. My “high” from a win for the insurance company was quickly replaced with a feeling of injustice. Eventually, I gained the courage to end my role as a pawn for the industry, changed sides, and co-founded RAM Law. As the years went by, I had more opportunities to represent truck crash victims. I became obsessed with the trucking industry and the regulations intended to keep unsafe truck drivers off the road and devoured every publication I could find on the topic. In 2015, I decided to commit myself fully to this area of specialization. I searched for every opportunity for education, training, and experience. In 2018 I got my Class A CDL permit required to drive tractor-trailers. I then enrolled in truck driving school for behind-the-wheel experience. In 2019, I qualified and passed the exam for Board Certification in Truck Accident Law. I was among the first two attorneys in New Jersey to obtain this specialized Board Certification and among the first 50 Board Certified attorneys nationwide. Every truck crash case is unique and full of twists and turns. I regularly lecture to attorneys throughout New Jersey to share the expertise I have developed over the years. Arming lawyers with tools to level the playing field against unsafe trucking companies and their insurance carriers helps promote safer roads and responsible practices. Justice results when our legal system works properly, and irresponsible companies can no longer outgun their injured victims.
