Specialized in Family Law and Domestic Relations, I bring my extensive financial background to every case. Understanding the full scope and intricacies of a client's finances is often critical to protecting his or her interests. When added to a compassionate approach, I work to help clients get back to their lives with minimal impact. Prior to joining the firm, I served as the Chief Executive Officer of Maritime Capital Management Partners USA, LLC and all of its subsidiaries. My combined financial and legal background allowed me to navigate the complexities of global commercial shipping. Prior to joining MCMP, I was a Portfolio Manager for a Minnesota-based hedge fund where I managed a $125 million dollar portfolio and was part of a team that managed a $1.5 billion portfolio. My investment experience focuses on traditional and alternative asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and hedge funds. I have published several articles and books, each centering on the high-level, proprietary, market-neutral pairs trading methodology that I and my team developed. I began my career at The Northern Trust Company in Cash Management before joining UBS Asset Management. I helped build the Operations area of a billion dollar asset manager before turning my full attention to trading. I graduated with a B.A. in both Economics and Philosophy from Lake Forest College and earned my JD at Loyola University of Chicago.
