About Douglas DiPalma
Douglas A. DiPalma, a partner with Cavitch since 1985, focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and employment law with trial experience in actions for breach of contract, employment, construction, insurance, and business torts. Doug is a frequent speaker at seminars sponsored by professional associations and business groups. He has also been an adjunct professor at Kent State University from 1999 to 2009, where he taught courses on contract law and federal litigation. Doug is the editor of Volume 8 of Ohio Transaction Guide published by Matthew Bender & Co., and a contributor to the chapters, among others, on sales, contracts and employment contracts. He is also an author of an Expert Commentary published by Lexis/Nexis on the reporting requirements under Ohio’s minimum wage law. Doug is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Ohio Association Of Civil Trial Attorneys. He is also a member of the Order of the Coif, an honor society for lawyers who graduate in the top 10 percent of their class. Doug attained his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1980. He attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating cum laude in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Doug was admitted to the bar in the State of Illinois in 1980 and practiced with the law firm of Isham, Lincoln & Beale in Chicago until 1985.
