DOUGLAS DIAZ is an experienced labor and employment law attorney who helps employers navigate the numerous legal minefields in the labor and employment law arena while defending their interests in both court and union proceedings. His experience includes all aspects of employment law litigation, employment counseling, drafting and negotiating employment related agreements, developing personnel policies and procedures with Human Resource Managers and executives, employee training such as anti-harassment training, collective bargaining negotiations, and labor arbitrations. He interacts regularly with business owners, managers, and senior leaders to establish legal strategies that align with the current and future business needs of the company. When litigation does occur, whether in the union or non-union setting, Mr. Diaz zealously defends the interests of clients consistent with their goals. He has obtained a jury defense verdict in an age discrimination trial; obtained injunctions against employees for misappropriating confidential company information, and has secured labor arbitration awards for employers defending against union grievances. He has also lectured on a variety of labor and employment law topics on behalf of several organizations including the Southern New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, New Jersey Business and Industry Association, Greater Valley Forge Human Resource Association, and Tri-State Human Resources Management Association.
