About Donna Parkinson
Donna T. Parkinson is the managing partner of Parkinson Phinney in Sacramento. Donna represents financial institutions, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees, trustees in bankruptcy cases and workouts and represented the Stockton Police Officers Association in the Stockton Chapter 9 case. She is the former Chair and currently an advisor to the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California, a former chair and member of the Insolvency Law Committee and member of the Financial Institutions Committee and a former President of the Sacramento Valley Bankruptcy Forum. She is a Bankruptcy specialist certified by the California State Bar and certified in Business Bankruptcy and in Creditors’ Rights by the American Board of Certification. Donna earned her law degree at the University of California, Davis, and was awarded the Order of the Coif.
