Derek Whitlock

My craft is that of a trial lawyer with the Whitlock Firm, PLC. I possess extensive experience in a wide range of civil cases, developing litigation strategies, defending/conducting depositions, and resolving cases through settlement, mediation, arbitration, and trial via all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, pretrial and post-trial briefs. The predominant focus of my practice involves commercial litigation primarily representing the interest of commercial/residential landowners and management companies I have litigated hundreds of matters throughout the Chancery, Circuit, Appeals and Supreme Courts of Tennessee and Mississippi. My goal is always to provide an honest, straight-forward assessment of the legal issues, costs, expectations in order to best effectuate the goals of my client.
