My clients rely on me as a trusted partner to help them stay current and compliant with a seemingly endless barrage of employment law developments by auditing human resources practices, developing compliance strategies, providing workplace training, and drafting employee handbooks, policies, and employment and severance agreements. As one of the core members of Littler’s Leave of Absence and Disability Accommodation practice group, I provide employers with national and multistate advice on a range of leave and disability issues, including reasonable accommodations, paid sick and safe time, paid family and medical leave, paid parental leave, vacation and paid time off, and other leaves of absence. As a member of the Firm’s Audit Services Group, I audit compliance issues throughout the life cycle of employment, from recruitment to termination, at the federal, state and local level. And as a founding member of the Firm’s Secure and Predictive Scheduling group, I help retail, restaurant, and other employers navigate fair scheduling laws across the west coast, including answering the age-old question, “What even IS predictive scheduling?” If you know, you know.
