David Sosin

David is a founding partner in the law firm of Sosin & Arnold, Ltd in Orland Park. His practice concentrates in the representation of Midwest motor vehicle dealers, zoning, land use and corporate transactional law. David is a 1972 graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, and holds a degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a past President of the Illinois Bar Foundation and Southwest Bar Association. He has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association for more than 40 years, serving five terms as an assembly delegate and on numerous committees. In 2011, David was named to the Illinois State Bar Association College of Laureates which honors lawyers who have established and maintained the highest principles of the profession as demonstrated by their pervasive record of service to the law and the public. He is also a past winner of the ISBA's Board of Governors Award. David has lectured to other lawyers and the public on various bar leadership, estate planning and zoning and land use subjects, including state and local bar associations, Southwest Board of Realtors and the Southwest Suburban Homebuilders Association. He was a speaker at the People’s Law School programs in the Chicago area conducted by the ISBA Standing Committee on Minority and Women Participation, lecturing on estate planning and business matters. Admitted to the following bars: Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Northern District of Illinois, 7th Federal Circuit, and Supreme Court of the United States.
