About David Sharifi
David is an entertainment technology transactional attorney with special interest in intellectual property protection, new media production and licensing, mobile publishing, trademark registration, and competitive barrier strategy for digital goods and services. David's legal and business consultation to technology based companies includes: -- Advising businesses and professionals in the entertainment, advertising, technology and media industries on intellectual property matters; -- Strategizing with clients on the protection, enforcement and licensing of company trademark portfolios, copyright matters, patents, trade secrets and other intellectual property; -- Forming, merging, selling and dissolving business entities, corporations and limited liability companies; -- Drafting and negotiating contracts related to technology development, acquisitions, productions, film and television, digital and mobile publishing, and marketing law. Prior to founding L.A. Tech & Media Law Firm, David worked as a private legal and marketing advisor to several firms. David's entrepreneurial experience, passion for innovation and the greater good, and exclusive concentration on entertainment, media, and technology for over a decade guides David’s counsel to clients from a perspective that few attorneys can match. David graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (B.A.) focusing in Political Science and Mass Media, and Southwestern Law School (J.D.) ranked #4 in America’s Top 10 Entertainment Law Schools by The Hollywood Reporter in 2012.
