About David Sanders

I am a litigation attorney in practice for 13 years. I currently engage in civil litigation matters, including commercial litigation and professional malpractice claims. I also have experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Some of my other relevant experience includes taking and defending depositions, and achieving favorable results many times on summary judgment, several times at arbitration and twice at trial. In my first trial, as a second chair, I was able to persuade a jury to impose 90% contributory negligence to a plaintiff, providing the plaintiff only 10% of his claimed medical damages, and zero general damages. In my second trial, a bench trial, I served as second chair and obtained a defense verdict and a prescriptive easement for my clients in a property line dispute. I have submitted written briefs to the Washington State Court of Appeals, Illinois Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit Appellate Court, Seventh Circuit Appellate Court, and the United States Supreme Court. I also have experience arguing in front of the Washington State Court of Appeals.
