In my role as a labor and employment lawyer at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, I have had the privilege to advise and represent many public and privately-held companies around the country for more than 25 years. I have substantial "big case" experience , including discrimination claims brought by high-level executives and former in-house counsel, whistleblower cases under Sarbanes-Oxley and multi-plaintiff, class, and collective claims brought privately or by the EEOC. I also have significant experience defending against Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) class actions. The best thing about all the litigating I have done is that it makes me a much better counselor. My primary goal is keep our clients out of court by rendering the post possible advice on a broad range of on topics, from proper procedure for hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees to general compliance with federal and state anti-discrimination laws. And I am blessed to work with hundreds of other Seyfarth employment lawyers, including subject matters experts in areas ranging from immigration to pay equity, who provide cutting edge advice on the newest areas of risk and opportunities for companies. I also serve as a consultant to employers on ways to enhance their disability diversity inclusion programs and related corporate social responsibility efforts. I collaborate with Seyfarth Shaw at Work, our elite training subsidiary, to deliver practical advice and training to help employers both achieve and move beyond compliance with the ADA.
