David Fertig

I am a Partner in the Commercial Litigation Group of BakerHostetler LLP, with more than 25 years of experience representing and counseling sophisticated, global businesses in high-stakes disputes, both in state and federal courts around the country (including in class actions and multidistrict litigations) as well as in domestic and international arbitrations. My multi-disciplinary practice encompasses the full spectrum of commercial litigation, arbitration and counseling on behalf of companies spanning a broad range of industries, with extensive experience in the life sciences, technology, media and entertainment, private equity, financial services, information, infrastructure, retail, real estate and insurance sectors. I regularly advise and represent clients in matters involving: contracts; intellectual property; fraud and other business torts; antitrust law; labor and employment law; bankruptcy and restructuring; real estate; and insurance. In addition, I regularly counsel corporate clients and their senior executives on corporate governance issues and risk avoidance/mitigation, particularly in the context of investments, acquisitions and divestitures.
