About David Carico
I have almost four decades of experience in the practice of appellate law. I am certified as a specialist in appellate law by the California State Bar, Board of Legal Specialization. I was a research attorney in the California Superior Court and the Court of Appeal so I have an insiders knowledge of the workings of the courts. I handle civil and criminal appeals and writs and provide assistance to trial counsel with trial motions, instructions, post-trial motions, perfecting the record and advice on appellate issues, and reviewing and editing appellate briefs. I am admitted to practice in all California courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. I have a proven track record of success in the trial and appellate courts and have received commendations for my work.
