About David Beeby
It's hard to believe that I've been practicing law for 20 years. My early years as an attorney were primarily spent either preparing for (most lawsuits settle) or performing in front of a jury. Today, much of my time is devoted to guiding a small team of lawyers representing construction contractors, counseling clients, problem solving, negotiating deals and/or settling disputes. I work with a great group of people and work to foster a positive team environment. Team building, team leadership, teamwork and being a good team player are each concepts that I stress on a daily basis at home, with clients and with co-workers. This focus might originate from what some consider an unhealthy love of sports. I play many of them and watch them all (both in person and on a screen), and consider the broadcasts as the ultimate "reality TV." My daughters play sports year round and I coach when I can. I believe that the lessons learned in competition translate well into business: setting goals, preparation, teamwork, and learning to handle wins and losses.
