About David Atkins
As head of my firm's Professional Liability practice I focused on representing professionals, including lawyers, licensed health care providers and academics in civil litigation including the defense of professional liability damages actions. My team at Pullman & Comley also has wide experience in appearing for professionals in partnership disputes, licensing investigations and in the trial of both disciplinary and malpractice cases. They regularly consult with, and provide CLE qualified training for, law firms and corporate legal departments on risk management and legal ethics topics. I regularly am engaged as an expert witness in those areas. In 2022 Quinnipiac University School of Law appointed me an Adjunct Instructor teaching its Lawyers' Professional Responsibility course. Yale Law School appointed by a Visiting Lecturer, starting in the Spring Semester 2023, teaching its Professional Responsibility course.
