Daniel McMahon

Dan McMahon is chairman of Wilson Elser. Overseeing Wilson Elser’s Executive Committee and Operations Group, he is responsible for setting the firm’s strategic vision, establishing and enforcing policy, and ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness. A highly accomplished trial attorney and law firm executive, Dan built his practice and reputation in Illinois, and then nationally. Dan’s primary focus in legal matters is on complex commercial litigation, professional liability defense, ERISA litigation and insurance coverage cases. He has many reported decisions in these and related areas. Dan has tried cases in U.S. District Courts across the country and in the Illinois Circuit Courts of Cook, Kane, McHenry and DuPage Counties. He has argued numerous appeals before state and federal appellate courts.
