Practice Areas Immigration, Federal Criminal Defense I am the founder and managing partner of Alliant Law Group, LLC in Chicago, Illinois. I am a nationally renowned immigration defense lawyer who represents clients in the Chicago, Illinois and around the globe. I was employed as Senior Special Agent Criminal Investigator for the US Department of Homeland Security and the US Department of Justice for over 26 years. As a Special Agent, I worked in all aspects of the immigration mission both criminally and administratively. While working as a Special Agent I could see a real need for compassionate and competent advocates for individuals and companies forced to deal with the federal system.
