About Dan Mark

Dan is co-producing the film “Sight” currently in production and starring Greg Kinnear (“Little Miss Sunshine”) and Terry Chen (“House of Cards”). “Sight” is directed by Andrew Hyatt (Sony’s “Paul, Apostle of Christ”) and produced with Darren Moorman (Paramount’s “Same Kind of Different As Me” starring Renée Zellweger and Greg Kinnear). Dan also produced the film “Snakehead” starring Sung Kang (“Fast and the Furious” series) which is an official selection at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and will soon be released theatrically by Samuel Goldwyn. Dan's prior film “Fiction and Other Realities” was released theatrically in South Korea in 2020 (Korean title “Music & Reality”) after being Centerpiece Showcase film at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival (LAPFF). Dan also recently produced Korean co-production “Heavenquest: A Pilgrim’s Progress” starring South Korean legend Cha In Pyo and beloved Mexican actress Karyme Lozano, which was awarded one of the “12 Best Christian Movies of 2019” by Crosswalk. com and released as a Vudu exclusive in 2020. Dan is also in development on another drama feature to be announced later in 2022 with an award-winning Cannes and Toronto writer / director. Dan Mark is also an experienced Entertainment Attorney whose practice includes a pioneering Digital Influencer and Social Media Law Practice, all aspects of Entertainment Law from Film and Television to New Media, Distribution, Licensing, and Intellectual Property with a long-standing expertise in Trademarks and Copyrights. Dan represents Creators, Digital Influencers, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Talent, Social Media Agencies, Producers and Production Companies, Management Companies, Ad Agencies, Content Distributors, Documentarians, Authors, Podcasters, Startups, Software Companies, and Designers and Makers in the Apparel, Fashion and Consumer Products industries. Dan was previously in-house counsel at leading motion picture film studio Warner Bros., where he handled intellectual property matters for the studio and worked on the successful tentpole films Pacific Rim (2013) directed by Guillermo del Toro and The Lego Movie (2014). Prior to that, he began his legal career with prominent entertainment law firm Greenberg Traurig in Los Angeles. Dan was also a prior winner of the GRAMMY Foundation’s Entertainment Law Initiative writing competition and has been published twice in leading academic legal journals for entertainment law.
