Cynthia Bernard has over 25 years experience in the practice of law, focusing on personal injury, estate planning and settlement, and probate litigation. Ms. Bernard graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, in 1995. Throughout her career, she has successfully resolved hundreds of cases through trials, arbitrations and other methods of alternative dispute resolution. She takes extraordinary care and has great compassion for every single individual who has been wronged by another. Attorney Bernard has the extensive experience necessary to guide you through the process of securing the financial assistance you deserve whether through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or a lawsuit. Ms. Bernard is a zealous advocate for her clients and is committed to helping the injured or otherwise harmed receive fair and just compensation. Over the past 25 years, Ms. Bernard has devoted hundreds of hours providing pro bono legal services to low income individuals. She has volunteered at Legal Services of CT, served as Program Director for Child Advocates of CT, and represented children in the child welfare system in Connecticut. In addition to her private law practice, Ms. Bernard provides counseling to low income women studying at Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport, CT. Ms. Bernard is an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Women's Caucus, and the Fairfield County Bar Association.
