About Craig Mariger
After retiring from the legal representation of clients, both as outside counsel and in-house counsel, I am serving lawyers and their clients by providing arbitration and mediation services. While employed as a senior shareholder at a large regional law firm, I represented as legal counsel participants in the construction industry with respect to construction planning, contracting, claim resolution and litigation. For approximately 10 years, I served as national construction counsel to a Fortune 500 company. For more than 30 years, I served as ethics counsel and claims counsel to my law firm. I managed claims threatened and lawsuits filed against the law firm and/or its lawyers. Also while engaged in private practice, I provided professional malpractice defense to architects, engineers, surveyors, insurance agents and brokers, accountants and lawyers, and I defended products liability claims.As in-house counsel employed by one of my prior clients, I oversaw and managed major litigation filed against the company in the United States.I have for more than 25 years provided arbitration and mediation services primarily in construction disputes. Upon retiring from my role as in-house counsel, I am exclusively engaged in alternative dispute resolution. Specialties: Construction Law, Contract Law, Professional Liability, Professional Ethics, and Products Liability Law.
