Concepcion Montoya

I work with employers committed to building, maintaining and strengthening inclusive and thriving workplaces through proper training, evaluation and implementation of employment policies and procedures. My passion to advocate, defend, teach and serve is the driving force behind my trial, appellate and litigation practice that spans nearly two decades. I have a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients inside and outside the courtroom. My practice includes the defense of individual and class action action employment and consumer claims, including discrimination, harassment and unlawful termination claims under Title VII, and handling governmental investigations brought by federal, state and local governmental agencies. I am an active member of Hinshaw’s Diversity Committee. I serve (and have served) in a variety of leadership positions for several bar organizations including the National Association of Women Lawyers, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, the Asian American Bar Association of New York, and the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York.
