Claudia Farfan

Attorney Claudia Yecenia Farfan obtained her Women's Studies Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach. She then received her Juris Doctorate Degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. In December 2010, she was sworn in as an attorney in the state of California. She has had experience in helping clients with DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), adjustment of status, NACARA, TPS, I130, asylum, U visa, removal of conditions, master hearings, merits hearing, motions to reopen, BIA appeals, naturalization (citizenship), motions for bond, stay of removal, consular process, I-601 waivers and Violence Against Women Act applications (VAWA). Prior to becoming an attorney, Attorney Farfán gained valuable experience as an Immigration Student Attorney. Other legal experience includes her participation as a Law Clerk for the City of Minneapolis where she consulted on the Library Ethics Code. She also worked as a law clerk for William Mitchell Family Law Clinic and the Los Angeles Public Defender's Office. Attorney Farfan believes every client deserves individual attention and the best representation possible. She maintains an ethical understanding of the law while prioritizing the client's individual needs.
