I’ve been called the "Benefits Defender,” a title that I wear with pride. I am a tenacious ERISA attorney, counselor, and litigator, as well as a knowledgeable and experienced resource for physicians, attorneys, therapists, financial planners or those who otherwise serve disabled individuals.My experience as a Registered Nurse and as a Prosecutor gives me a unique advantage in the prosecution of my clients’ claims. I enjoy reading medical literature about illnesses and diseases, and will conduct the necessary medical research to know how to best present my client’s case under the law. I confer with medical providers on how they can best help their patients during an ERISA disability process, or with their own disability income policies. I educate financial planners on the implications other income sources, such as IRAs, 410(k)s, or pensions, may have on their clients’ disability benefits.
