He has more than thirty five years of experience in business litigation (50%) insurance defense (30%) and products liability litigation as well as significant experience in patent and copyright litigation, including many jury trials. In 2009 Claude completed the Harvard Negotiation Institute's mediation course and now serves as a mediator/arbitrator in addition to his litigation practice. At the University of Mississippi Claude served on the Mississippi Law Journal and as Chairman of the Honor Council. He has served as a Special Justice on the MS Supreme Court and as a member of the Complaints Tribunal. He speaks at trial practice seminars and law school classes. He has served on the MS Commission on Continuing Legal Education. Claude has served as an officer and director of numerous civic and charitable organizations.
