Christina Saunders

I am an attorney and partner at Saunders & Saunders, and practice primarily in Denver, Colorado and Park City, Utah. I have built my law practice around my life passions which include intellectual property, business, entrepreneurship, and the outdoor industry. I advise my clients on their intellectual property, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret issues. I have experience in negotiating, obtaining, registering, transferring, licensing and commercializing upon intellectual property assets for my clients. As part of my IP practice, I also have significant defense experience in mass BitTorrent protocol lawsuits, where I have defended dozens of individuals and businesses faced with copyright lawsuits involving the download of online content. In addition to helping build and manage corporate IP portfolios, I advise corporations, including startup companies and small businesses, through entity formation, organization, operation, capitalization, financing, and dissolution or sales, and provide ongoing general corporate support to established businesses. I believe in contributing to my community through volunteering, pro bono, and non-profit work. I am the immediate past Chair of the Board of Directors at The Gathering Place in Denver. I served as the Rocky Mountain Legal Advisor for the National Ski Patrol, and was also a volunteer ski patroller at Loveland Ski Area. I have been selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star consecutively from 2014 to 2022, and named by the US News and World Report's Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in 2022 and 2023. In 2011, I was awarded as one of the top 25 most influential young professionals in Colorado by ColoradoBiz Magazine. I hold a B.A., cum laude, from Bates College, and a J.D. from the University of Utah.
