Christian Foote

I'm a commercial real estate attorney based in Bend, Oregon, licensed to practice in both Oregon and California. Over the course of a 15+ year career, I have represented developers, investors, landlords, lenders, and tenants in a wide range of commercial real estate matters, from complex transactions to high-stakes litigation. My practice spans both sides of commercial real estate work. On the transactional side, I assist clients with acquisitions, dispositions, lease negotiations, development agreements, and financing arrangements. On the litigation side, I represent clients in disputes involving purchase and sale agreements, lease enforcement, title defects, lender remedies, and partnership or ownership conflicts. The ability to handle both gives my clients a distinct advantage; I approach every deal with an understanding of how disputes arise, and every dispute with an understanding of how the underlying transaction was structured. My California practice serves developers, investors, and lenders throughout the state. My Oregon practice focuses on the Central Oregon region, including the growing number of California-based investors and developers active in the local market. In addition to my primary practice areas, I also handle select matters in trust and estate litigation, residential real estate disputes, general corporate work, environmental litigation, and commercial litigation in both Oregon and California.
