Chris Strianese

I am an experienced employment lawyer who works directly with c-suite, people, ER, and finance teams to provide practical and strategic advice on a wide array of employment law issues. As an experienced litigator and investigator, I have the perspective to assess risk and manage employment issues to prevent them from turning into costly and disruptive disputes. I understand practical business considerations. I am allergic to legalese. I serve as fractional general and employment counsel for small and mid-sized businesses, bringing order to chaos with empathy and humor. I want to fix the problem not the blame. I love learning new businesses. I am a trusted counselor to corporate officers and highly compensated executives in connection with all aspects of their employment relationships including restrictive covenants, comp packages, employment and comp agreements, and transitions. I enjoy building consensus and working as a team to come up with creative solutions to complex problems. As a mediator and former member of the bar’s fee dispute resolution team, I have experience turning even the most contentious problems into productive resolutions. I also serve as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and New York.
