Chris Moore

Chris’ practice covers a wide range of probate and civil matters, including conservatorships, trust and estate litigation, probate and trust administration, guardianships, elder abuse, Medi-Cal eligibility, and civil litigation. Chris has independently handled dozens of contested conservatorship and trust and estate litigation cases from start to finish, often navigating complex issues such as capacity and property rights. Chris has trial and mediation experience, and has successfully resolved a broad variety of disputes. Chris is especially passionate about conservatorships, and has spent his whole career handling conservatorship cases. Chris has represented persons on all sides of the conservatorship process, including conservators, concerned family members, proposed conservatees, and both lay and professional fiduciaries, and understands the issues and challenges from every perspective. Chris was born in Maryland but has lived in Contra Costa County since 1989 and considers it home. Chris is active in the local legal community as a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, Estate Planning Council of Diablo Valley, and Estate Planning Council of Southern Alameda County. When he’s not practicing law, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, cooking, traveling, working on his first novel, and following Bay Area and Maryland sports teams.
