About Chris Ayres
My practice focuses on civil trial and appeals, including "bet the company" business litigation and catastrophic personal injury matters. I practice in both state and federal court, and handle cases nationwide. Beyond litigation, I provide representation and counsel to doctors, nurses, and emergency medical services providers (government and private sector) in matters involving privileges, licensure, peer review, and other legal-medical issues. My practice also includes representation and counsel to attorneys in matters relating to licensure and professional responsibility. Every year since 2013, my peers have voted me as a “Super Lawyer” – indicating he is in the upper echelon of all attorneys in the State of Texas. I maintain an “AV Preeminent” Martindale Hubbell peer rating (highest ability and ethics). I am board certified in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and am also certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Civil Trial Advocacy – one of only 50 lawyers with all three certifications (and the youngest ever to achieve this distinction). My work has lead to numerous awards and invitation-only memberships and recognition, including the Dallas Business Journal, D Magazine, Litigation Counsel of America, National Trial Lawyers, and both the Texas and American Bar Foundations. I author and presenter on matters of law and medicine. I also retain an appointment in the Department of Emergency Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center and serve as the Assistant Directors of the Emergency Legal Assistance Program at Parkland Memorial Hospital and UT Southwestern Biotel EMS System. I also consider it a great honor to continuing serving in leadership positions within various non-profit agencies in his community.
